Ocean's Harbor House recognizes that our mission requires our organization to impact on the lives of children, youth and families on more than just a local level. We must take a leadership role in helping to shape state and national policy that recognizes the needs of our youth and commits to developing comprehensive solutions that will address the challenges faced by these young people.
To this end, our agency maintains memberships and affiliations with a variety of youth advocacy and development organizations and groups. Four of these partnerships are listed below.
NATIONAL RUNAWAY SWITCHBOARD
National Runaway Switchboard (NRS) is a not-for-profit volunteer organization whose mission is to provide crisis intervention and referrals for youth and families through national and local telephone switchboards, as well as advocacy and educational services on the problems of youth.

NATIONAL NETWORK FOR YOUTH
A national organization, based in Washington DC, the National Network has been dedicated to ensuring that young people can be safe and lead healthy and productive lives. With more than 700 direct members and 1,500 constituents involved in regional and state networks, the National Network informs public policy, educates the public and strengthens the field of youth work.

New jersey alliance for children, youth and families
A New Jersey based organization that is a network of membership agencies and individuals providing a common voice for runaway, homeless and vulnerable youth, and their families. The Coalition leads in the facilitation and support of quality crisis intervention services in member organizations. To reach this goal, they are committed to advocacy, networking, training and research. The New Jersey Alliance for Children, Youth and Families represents the combined membership of the New Jersey Association of Children's Residential Facilities and the Garden State Coalition for Youth and Family Concerns.
