GROUP PROGRAMS

All groups are free of charge and open to any youth in Ocean County, grades 7-12th. Individual and family counseling services are also available on an outpatient basis.


YOUNG MEN'S GROUP

This group is designed to help young males explore and discuss gender
specific issues and challenges.

Mondays, 7pm-8pm

YOUNG WOMEN'S GROUP

This group is designed to help young females explore and discuss
gender specific issues and challenges.

Mondays, 7pm-8pm

NARCOTICS ANONYMOUS

A group to help youth to help themselves and encourage each
other to stay free from drug/alcohol use.

*Mondays, 7pm-8pm

*N.A. Group is held every third Monday only. There is no Young Women's
or Young Men's Group held on that night at the Center.


TEEN RAP

This group provides youth with the opportunity to discuss common
frustrations and challenges and explores alternate ways of dealing with them.

PEER LEADERSHIP (P.L.A.Y.)

A group for youth who want to be leaders in helping other youth and
members of the community.

PARENT'S SUPPORT GROUP

A group for parents to get together with other parents to discuss
common frustrations and problems, explore issues and work towards
resolving those issues.

ALA-TEEN

A group for youth whose lives have been affected by someone else's drinking.

ANGER MANAGEMENT

This is a group to help youth explore anger, its effects, and ways of
responding appropriately. Participants MUST pre-register for this group.

AIM
(Authenticity, integrity, Manhood)

This group is for young adolescent males who have been separated from their fathers, either through death, divorce, separation, etc., and who have no other positive male role model in their lives teaching them how to be men.

TEENS LIVING CLEAN

A support group for youth in recovery or struggling with drug or
alcohol abstinence.
