FULL TIME POSITIONS
Program Director -Transitional Living Services
Description of the Position
Under the supervision of the Executive Director, responsible for coordinating the daily 24-hour and outpatient operations of the Transitional Living Program, including the implementation of agency policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with federal, state and local licensing and grant guidelines.
Responsibilities and Duties
Plans and implements staff schedule to ensure 24-hour coverage in compliance with all federal, state, local and grant guidelines/regulations.
Coordinates and maintains administrative on-call system to assist with emergency coverage and client crises, facility and personnel issues.
Coordinates treatment planning, counseling and case management services for all program residents and outpatient clients.
Plans and coordinates follow-up and aftercare services for all clients.
Plans and coordinates recreational, leisure, life skills, vocational/educational, employment and drug/alcohol prevention activities.
Facilitates bi-weekly case reviews and monthly Residential Meetings.
Assists in personnel matters related to recruiting, training and supervising employees. Makes recommendations regarding hiring, firing and other personnel actions.
Attends local, county, and statewide networking activities as needed.
Assists in agency-sponsored events including fund raising and community outreach events as directed.
Attends employee supervision meetings and staff training as required.
Completes monthly, quarterly and annual reports as required. Completes progress notes, data entries and other paperwork as needed.
Completes other related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Masters/MSW, LCSW or LPC preferred, with at least four (4) years direct counseling/youth work experience, and at least one (1) year of staff supervision experience. Knowledge of 24-hour operations vital. .
*Must have valid New Jersey’s Drivers License
