THE PROMISE CAMPAIGN
Paving The Way-
Because Every Child Deserves A Safe Haven
Over the last few year's we have worked diligently to build a new group home for older teens while purchasing and renovating several apartment units for additional beds to serve our region's homeless adolescents. To accomplish this it took a community of caring individuals to make the financial resources available. Many people contributed generous donations to the project. In 2006, we unveiled our Honor Wall at our TLP Educational Center and showcased our new Walk Of Hope, which has been laid with engraved brick pavers in honor of, or in memory of, special people in our lives who have brought hope. The pavers were a big hit and many people wanted to make a donation to have one for their honorees laid in the walk. To support the capital needs of the facilities, OHH will continue to allow bricks to be purchased throughout the year and will lay additions to the walk in the spring. If you have a brick in the walk and haven't had a chance to see it, stop by for a peek - the volunteers who laid the walk did a wonderful job, it looks great!
Ensuring a brighter tomorrow full of hope
and promise for all youth!
